I have known Miss Andrea and her family for 20 years, she happens to be one of my favorite people on the planet. She is one of the kindest most caring souls I know. She loves every child she cares for as they were her own.

Our 2-year-old son has been enrolled with Andrea for a year now. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of care he is receiving. There is a perfect balance between learning and play. Andrea gives the children the freedom to explore in a safe, healthy, and loving environment. I never worry about my son during the day. I love that he has been introduced to activities like yoga. I also like the fact that they spend a lot of time outdoors, even in the winter. My son comes home singing songs that he has learned at school and he talks all the time about Andrea and the other children. They are his extended family during the weekdays. Andrea is continually taking classes to improve her program and her skills as a teacher. WE are so lucky to have found such a wonderful person to watch our child. She is trustworthy, flexible and extremely energetic. I highly recommend her.

We were so lucky to have found Miss A. She creates a safe, clean, positive, and loving environment for our children. Her lower level is their school, it is a bright, cheery inviting atmosphere. She has creative lesson plans, as well as plenty of free play and outdoor activities. She teaches them not only through lesson plans, but how to clean up and respect one another. We can see how much our sons learn being with her each day.
The children eat together and nap all at the same time. It is amazing how they have a routine that is manageable. The children do things as a group- but since it is a small intimate environment she is able to give each child additional individualized attention that they need as well. Our children love going to school, they show up with big smiles on their faces each morning when we arrive and give Miss A lots of hugs. Often in the afternoon they do not want to leave. Miss A has an amazing personality. She is warm, friendly, outgoing and lovable. Miss A is accommodating, practical and has one of the biggest hearts of a person we have ever met. We feel so lucky that we have found some we trust to take care of our children. We are amazed at how she makes each day unique and is able to teach at the same time. There is nowhere else we would want our children to go each day!

My daughter has been going to Mrs. A's since she was 4 months old, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! It is a home center and Andrea goes above and beyond to make you feel like family. She is great about sending daily reports and pictures during the day which I love seeing. The kids are constantly engaged whether it be sensory play, music, outside play or arts and crafts. I highly recommend Andrea and her facility to anyone searching for childcare!

Miss A has watched both my girls since they were infants, and my three-month-old son will soon join his sisters there, too. I feel so confident in Miss A. She offers a full preschool program with curriculum imbedded throughout the day, all in a nurturing home environment; which to me, is the best of both worlds. Both of my girls have been students with Andrea from birth - 2+years old. Andrea is a wonderful caretaker and teacher to all of her kids. We are so lucky to have our son enrolled in Ms A's Cove Childcare/Pre-school. It has been incredible to see his development over the last year! Bodie loves going to school to play, learn and make new friends. The favorite part of my day is when I get home from work and listen to Bodie tell me about all the fun he had at Ms A's! She is wonderful with the kids and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

There’s no better feeling in the world than dropping your kids off at a place that is as loving as their own home, and probably more enriching! I appreciate that Cove School is a licensed daycare so I know many important safety and developmental pieces are in place. But on top of that Andrea fosters nurturing relationships between the kids; they learn kindness, friendship, and peer leadership.

We are only a month in and we already know this is the best place for our son! We couldn't be happier that we were lucky enough to find Andrea. Its the perfect mix of school, play and making new friends. We will be here until she kicks us out! It is the absolute best. Cove is such a great place for children. Miss Andrea is so sweet and nurturing with the children and is very creative with her lesson planning. She gives the children all the tools they need so when they move onto Kindergarten they have a seamless transition. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for childcare/preschool! You wont regret it!

We have used Andrea for the past 2.5 years for our son Luca. He started when he was six months and is now almost 3 years old. Andrea has been the most amazing childcare provider and teacher. When Luca was born, I looked at a handful of daycare centers and honestly about 15 in home daycares. Andrea was my favorite by far. She is very loving, positive, and super energetic.
As a baby Luca was in great hands. She took care of his needs even with the older kids around. I remember when Luca was teething, Andrea would freeze cold twisted face clothes for him to bite on. She is very thoughtful about making all the children happy and comfortable. On days where Luca is tired, she makes cozy little areas for him to lie down and rest even during active play times if he isn’t interested. It comforts me to know that she takes all the children’s needs into account. Luca has learned so much from Andrea. It was amazing to watch him learn from Andrea and the other children. I attribute Luca’s social skills and friendly nature to his experience at school.
Andrea is very thoughtful in the plans for the day and always has a lot of activities/lessons planned. The children are never bored and are always challenged. She has activities for the babies all the way through the older children. She has such wonderful ideas. One of my favorites is that we can see the day progress through all her pictures/videos on our cell phones. Now that Luca is an “older kid” and talks, he tells us how much he loves Mrs. A. That makes us so happy to know he spends the day with someone he loves.
Another one of my favorites is that the kids get fresh air and outdoor play almost every day. Andrea provides healthy, creative meals and snacks which is very important to us.
I cannot speak any higher of Andrea and her school. She takes great pride in her school by making improvements, changing the toys, cleaning the toys, planning activities so that the families can get to know each other, etc. Andrea’s school is wonderful to be a part of. We give Andrea the highest recommendation and I would refer anyone I know looking for care to her without a second thought!

Our son Brendan started daycare with Andrea in September of 2005 when he was just about 10 months old. Prior to being with Andrea, he was in another home daycare for a few months. Our experience with the previous daycare was not a positive one and we ended up terminating due to being unsatisfied with the level of care that our son was receiving.
The moment we met with Andrea for our first visit, both my husband and I felt very comfortable. She provided a clean home, a relaxing atmosphere and most of all a sense of reassurance that our son would be safe in her care. From this day on, Brendan has been attending care with Andrea 4 days a week. Because Andrea is a mother and has been a pre-school teacher for many years, she understood the difficulty that parents have when initially leaving their child in the care of another caretaker.
Andrea eased our minds by offering to video tape the first couple of weeks of Brendan’s attendance to show us how our son interacted with her and the other kids in her home. She also provided a daily journal for many months to show us how our son ate for the day, napped, and the fun activities he did during the day.
It’s been 8 months since Brendan has started with Andrea and we couldn't have asked for a better provider. We know Brendan is always safe and well taken care of during the day because of his behavior when we pick him up. Andrea does an incredible job contacting my husband and I if she feels Brendan is not feeling well or if she has any concerns at all. She also doesn’t mind us calling to check in during the day to see what kind of a day our son is having.
Brendan’s vocabulary and motor skills have continued to flourish over the past 8 months that he has been with Andrea. I believe this is because Andrea integrates education into her daily routine by following lesson plans and a curriculum she develops and makes it age-appropriate toe the children she has in her center. Brendan comes home on a daily basis with an arts and crafts project that he worked don during the day.

Our oldest son was with Andrea full time for almost 5 years before starting Kindergarten full time, and our youngest son was with Andrea for almost 3 years before starting in the public school system's preschool program.
I was very comfortable leaving our children with Andrea because I knew she would take such good care of them. She is incredibly creative and our kids were never bored while they were with her. Andrea balanced structured days along with play, all of which influenced our children's learning and growth.
Our Children received nutritional meals and snacks, as well as active play daily, which has had a large impact on our children's health and has helped them to thrive. After leaving Andrea, our kids still seek the structure and activity daily because of Andrea's influence.
Andrea, who has a background in education, is a high quality teacher. Additionally, she continues to attend training to keep her skills up-to-date, and to learn new skills.
Andrea laid a solid foundation for our children with her focus on activity, nutrition, and education. She is responsible, caring, trustworthy, cheerful, and loving. I highly recommend Andrea and her center.
